Based in one of the world’s most vibrant cities, CommMA is uniquely formulated at the intersection of design, practice-based research, and Southeast Asian Studies. Aiming to be a leader in innovative design education, CommMA embraces a wide variety of methods and our teaching staff are multi-disciplinary.
The normative time to degree for CommMA is 2 years. 36 credits are required for graduation. Applicants choose between the pathways Experimental Communication Design or Type Design as Research. Both pathways have the study option of Thesis Only or Thesis and coursework and this can affect the duration of study.
